Decorating

Tom White started decorating over 15 years ago. after attending decorating classes at Brighton college. He takes a lot of pride in his work and considers decorating a craft and is always keen to learn new skills and techniques.

Tom has vast and varied decorating experience in commercial and private work from; factories, supermarkets, pubs, shops, fountains, nursing homes, newly built homes and private properties.

Other Work



Stone Restoration

After leaving school Tom worked for his father doing stone restoration work for 5 years. The work included; stone cleaning, pointing and basic stone repairs. Some of the the locations worked at are: St giles church, barbican, Highgate Cemetery and All Saints Church, Blackheath common.

Tom applies many of the skills learned from stone work to decorating such as, pointing and mortar repairs.

Computing

In 2000 Tom joined the Open University to study computing and is now haif way to a degree (yes he's taking his time!). He is in no hurry to attain a degree as he prefers self study. Tom works as a web designer when he isn't decorating.

In was at the OU monthly meeting that Tom met his partner. They have now been together for 4 years and live together in Mile Oak, Brighton at the foot of the Downs.

Private Life

Tom likes to lead a simple life and loves nothing more than walking the dog in the hills. This takes up two hours of every day.

When not walking or working, Tom enjoys indie cinema and sampling local ales and ciders. Tom enjoys reading philosophy, autobiographies and a smattering fiction.

Tom's dream is to live in a wood with a lake and to have dog sanctuary.
